A Michigan-based trailer manufacturer is joining forces with another trailer manufacturer based in northeast Indiana.
Novae LLC of Markle, Indiana, has acquired LOOK Trailers, headquartered in Middlebury.
Since its founding in 2010, LOOK has become the largest seller of enclosed trailers. Meanwhile, Novae is one of the fastest growing trailer manufacturers in North America.
Novae LLC (“Novae”), one of North America’s fastest-growing trailer manufacturers and a portfolio company of Brightstar Capital Partners, today announced it has acquired LOOK Trailers (“LOOK”) LOOK, the largest truck trailer manufacturer in the United States, will continue to operate its six manufacturing facilities and extensive dealer network as a division of Novae. LOOK founder and CEO Matt Arnold will become Novae’s director of innovation. Financial terms of the private deal were not disclosed.
LOOK, founded in 2010 in Middlebury, Indiana, is a family-owned manufacturer of standard and custom enclosed trailers sold through an extensive dealer network in the United States and Canada. Its products are primarily focused on serving the truck trailer market, including general hauling, automotive, contracting and mobile workplaces. The LOOK family of brands includes LOOK Trailers, Cargo Express Trailers, Formula Trailers, Impact Trailers, Pace American Trailers, Compass Trailers and Everlite Trailers.
