Enjoying the road and nature is not incompatible with luxury and comfort. The caravan and trailer market, so fashionable in Spain, is filling up with mobile homes equipped with all the necessities and where design is taken care of to the maximum.
The Aero Build company born in Tennessee (USA), has created this trailer named Coast. It is an electrically charged double-shaft tagalong. The trailer, which weighs just under 2,268 kg, is mounted on a Lippert galvanized steel chassis and torsion axle suspension.
Coast is ideal to take your business without limits from one place to another or to enjoy a house without ties. It can include an office, kitchens to set up a food truck or the classic layout for a home for two or more people.
The bedroom is hidden behind a tall cabinet to give privacy and separate spaces such as the entrance and the living room. There is space for four people, with a 125×206 cm main bed and the dining room that becomes a secondary bedroom. In addition to amenities such as televisions, it includes an exterior electric awning with LED lighting, a 13,500 BTU roof-mounted air conditioning system, or 500-Watt double heaters.
Electricity is provided by an array of 1,360W monocrystalline solar panels, which are mounted on the roof and are powered by a bank of 810Ah lithium-ion batteries. This system powers appliances and a Firefly touchscreen control unit with WiFi and off-grid connectivity.
The bathroom is as equipped as the kitchen, with shower and toilet. The sink is separated so that several people can use the facilities without getting in each other’s way. Another advantage, against one of the biggest drawbacks of caravans, is its Dry Flush water system, which seals and compresses toilet waste into cartridges to throw it away. Each cartridge would last between 15 and 25 uses before needing to be replaced.
On the other hand, the shower has a Moen Nebia shower head like those that can be found in a spa. It is designed to cover the entire body without spending excess water. A 26.5 L heater is responsible for raising the temperature of the flow of the 151 L fresh water tank.
The price of this trailer is 115,120 euros to change. It is already possible to pre-order and the first deliveries are expected in spring 2023 in the northern hemisphere.
